Well it is now January, which we all know means, the new start for beauty box subscriptions and a new chance for these boxes to make us gasp with excitement. New releases and excitingly exclusive products and also some of the rediscovered favourites. This month’s BirchBox does exactly that! In collaboration with Pinterest, this box features a great line up to get us in the mood for the new year, that also bursts with inspiration. It covers a good area of beauty products with a 6th bonus feature added. In the box you will find exclusive illustrated cards by the very talented illustrator Viktorija Semjonova of And Smile Studio.

If there is a product that immediately interested me as soon as i opened the box, it was this. The Tinted Primer is a new addition to the collection, which promises to define, tint and prime the lashes. It can be worn with the They’re Real Mascara to amplify the effect or worn alone.
By applying the primer first, my eyelashes were separated, they look longer in length and seemed to have a natural looking finish. It was quite good on it’s own, but when i then proceeded to use the They’re Real mascara, it was the perfect combination. The duo delivered a real transformation in the length. Looking forward to see how this product will perform with other Benefit mascaras.
Parlor Moisturising and Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner Duo – Sample Size 30ml & 12ml sachet. Full Size RRP £16 each.
These are lightweight and multi-tasking duo. They combine strengthening with nourishing ingredients that will target medium to coarse hair and it promises to, not only cleanse hair but it will leave it feeling strong and smooth with a lovely shine.
Parlor has it’s own signature scent. The smell of cut grass, hints of ripened peach and white woods, it is almost addictive. The best smelled hair products, will be buying these at full size!
Jelly Pong Pong Lighten up Brightener & Waterliner – Full Size £14.95
I love products that will brighten the look of my peepers! It is an off white hue that will pretty much suit every skin type and it literally opens up your eyes when you apply it along the bottom waterline. For a plus with this product, i used it and blended it in under my brows for more definition and also along my cheekbones to brighten all my complexion.
Whish. Three Wishes Almond Body Butter – Sample Size 22ml. Full Size RRP £14.50
We all wish we had a non greasy body lotion, yep wishful thinking hey. No! Much to my surprise with this body butter, it actually fits that bill. With the organic aloe, raspberry butter,shea butter conquers any dryness you may have. The organic seaweed within the formula has high levels of skin firming peptides. All you have to do is smooth in everywhere, post shower.
Doux Me Comforting Face Mask & Exfoliator – Sample Size 15ml Full Size RRP £18
We all love a product that does it job and works hard, well this product does just that and twice as much. It not only removed the dead skin cells as it is a gentle exfoliant but it brung comfort to my skin as well as it is also a nourishing face mask, great for all skin types, even the most sensitive.
Can be used once or twice a week by applying a fine layer to your face and neck, leave it for around 10 minutes then simply wipe away with some slightly damped cotton pads.
To use as an exfoliant then massage it into damp skin, use circular motions then just rinse off.

My Verdict.
I think that this month’s Birchbox is great! it has positive vibes and has a little bit of everything from beauty to hair products, to have you feeling and look your best and a little extra!
Whilst the box consists of smaller sample sizer, they also throw in some full sized products, which in my opinion, you are most likely going to be something you will want to purchase. All in all I am very impressed with this month’s box and the products that be used in my everyday routine.
