Your skin is a huge tell tale sign of how good you’re feeling on the inside. It can also be a sign of stress, breakouts and everyday living. If you feel like you and your skin need a little boost, then here are some tips for you to have a happy face (and body) once again.

Snacking On Citrus

After a little detox? Lemons are great in helping you support the liver and kidneys. There’s a connection between having healthy organs and healthy skin. Foods that are rich in Vitamin C, like oranges, help prevent wrinkles.

Massage

Instead of just applying your moisturiser in a dabbing fashion, massage it into your face. Using a circular motion with gentle pressure, do the same when washing your face. Doing this little trick not only feels good, but kick starts your circulation.

Pore Strips

Although popping a spot does have some gratification, so does peeling off a pore strip. It will get the gunk out, once a week, and you can see your pores clear out right in front of your eyes like some kind of magic.

A Good Cuppa

Try taking a moment out of your hectic day to enjoy a cuppa, white or green tea both work wonders for your complexion. They add a balance of hydration and anti aging.

Exfoliate

If you feel that your skin is becoming a little dull, then its times for a scrub. Use a face scrub that cares for your skin’s needs and radiant skin will emerge from underneath. Try to exfoliate only twice a week. too much can damage your skin.

Less is More

To de-stress your skin,, put down the makeup and step back from your daily makeup routine. Allow your pores to be exposed to oxygen, you can’t be flawless all the time. If you are scared to go completely bare, try just using some concealer, a bit of mascara and lip balm.

Red Vino

Like you need a reason, but red wine is packed full with antioxidants. So have a glass, as it will help towards keeping healthy skin!

Face Brushing

A very handy little tool to have in your bathroom cabinet. It will clean and exfoliate all at the same time. As they work in a circular motion, it’s perfect for getting the blood circulated.

Almonds

Almonds are a great healthy snack, that are also great for your skin. They are packed with Omega 3s and Vitamin E, which are the 2 things that help keep your skin plump and healthy.

Clear Eyes

Eyes aren’t skin, but they are a main feature on your face. If your eyes are looking drab and tired, swollen or sore then the rest of your face will also look tired. Using eye drops will wake up your peepers, making you look more alert and ready to go.

Smile

Nothing is more stunning on a face than a smile. Whatever look you are going for, finish it off with a smile. It will instantly make you feel better, releasing endorphins that keep you nice and healthy both inside and out.

Refreshing

If you’re running around all day, your skin will suffer also. Take a pack of face wipes in your bag and when you feel like you and your skin need a subtle boost, wipe down your skin when you feel grubby or sweaty.

Misting

This is all the rage within the beauty world. Not only will a mist moisturise and feel great on your skin, it won’t mess up your makeup. The ultra soothing rose water will work for most skin types.
As our skin is the most visible part of us, it can reflect what is going on in our bodies. Most people will associate healthy skin with beauty, so become beautiful inside and out.
Having healthy glowing skin isn’t just about good looks though, it’s also part of our survival. So eat well, exercise and follow our awesome tips.
