Always wanted to have freckles? We have! Now we all have the chance to have our own. Here is a kit to do just that.
We have gone from drawing a little black dot on our faces to mimicking the infamous Crawford mole, to drawing our eyebrows a little thicker with a perfect fleek. There is a trend out there, literally for everything you could possibly imagine.
For some of you, freckles are such an awesome and cute thing. And it seems as though they are making a big comeback. Not everyone will pull of such a look, but if you are after giving this one a go, there is a company called Freck Your Face, a brand new cosmetic line that is creating a kit that allows you to have these freckles and last for about 72 hours.
For those of you that think this but don’t have freckles, you can now get super realistic freckles using this new stencil kit that provides you with 72 stencils and a roller ball for application and formula method.
There are 2 problems when it comes to creating freckles that look realistic. The first one being, it’s hard to create a realistic speckled pattern. Natural freckles have random patterns and various sizes. Then there’s the second, which we all know about, smudging. Pencils or makeup freckles can smudge and rub off quite easily. This kit solves those issues.
All you need to do is, simply press the desired stencil where you would like to have your freckles, roll over the stencil with the formula and there you are, semi permanent freckles, that will last a few days. A great little tip is that if you do a new set of freckles after 2 days, it will give you the speckled effect. A pattern almost, of fading freckles and more pronounced ones, this will give you a more realistic look.
A kit like this will last you up to 4-6 weeks with constant use and won’t break the bank either.
Freck Your Face kit is launched by Freck Yourself company which is a Kickstarter campaign.
It is also the brainchild of Remi Brixton, LA based, who has wanted freckles all her life. Brixton who said “ There is nothing more beautiful to me than bare skin and fresh freckles, to me they’re a mark of rebellious dreamers, wild adventures and unapologetic beauty”.
- Arrange the stencils in your desired position.
- Press the stencil down in it’s position.
- Apply the provided formula over the top of the stencil.
- Reveal your freckles underneath.
