We all know that Too Faced is one of the favourite makeup brands around and let’s be honest we are all huge suckers for cute little packaging, eyeshadow palettes that look like actual chocolate bars and those heart shaped blushers that even Polly Pocket would be proud of! So we can safely say, Too Faced products certainly do deliver.

Having said all that, Too Faced products aren’t just a pretty packaging. Combine it all together with their 100% cruelty free formulas, promises and their extensive selection of vegan makeup products, this is the brand that ‘literally’ everyone can be totally obsessed with.  This could be why some loyal fans of Too Faced are freaking out a bit.

Estee Lauder have stated on their website that they have a commitment to abolishing of animal testing and will not test on animals unless a regulatory body will demand it.

The biggest concern that people have is China. As China have rules and regulations, that demand all the cosmetic products that are sold in that country, have to be tested on animals. This will mean that makeup brands that sell in China will lose the cruelty free status.

Jerrod Blandino has maintained that Too Faced will never lose their beliefs and that Estee Lauder will respect their values that they have built their brand on. They won’t be animal testing nor will they will be going to China.

As Estee Lauder is one of the biggest makeup cosmetics and their influence on things are undeniable. Therefore, working with brands like Too Faced, that are cruelty free. Is a positive change in the industry. If brands like these can collab and work together for a greater good, then it is definitely something that we should be supporting.
